Rope Rescue and Rappel Level I 

This subject is an introduction to high angle rescue and evacuation for both the experienced professional and for those wishing to pursue a career in this field. Topics include technical hauling and lowering systems, rappel techniques, equipment use, selection, care, and the systems approach to anchor selection. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate.

Rope Rescue and Rappel Level II

Designed as an intermediate progression from Level I, this subject concentrates on technical rescues in the vertical environment. The "systems" approach to equipment and techniques is discussed and emphasized.

Rope Rescue and Rappel Level III

 This advanced level subject concentrates on multiple level technical rescues in the vertical environment.

 Rope Rescue and Rappel - Complete

 Six days of consecutive training at our Pickering base high angle site provides the most  intense high angle training module available in North America. Students graduate with a  combined Rig I, II, and III certificate. All meals, facilities, and use of technical equipment are included.

Strategic Rope Work 

 This subject will be of interest to current law enforcement officers and potential candidates  for police departments. Various methods of belaying, personal safety, and rappelling will be   taught. All instructors hold Ontario Rock Climbing Association instructor certification.

Technical Confined Space Rescue

 This 4-day subject is designed for individuals responsible for confined space rescue within professional rescue services, municipal utilities, public works, and related industries. The use  of hauls and anchors, and belay systems in cramped dark environments are discussed and practiced.  

Train the Trainer Certificate Cours

Designed for individuals who are actively or wish to become directly involved in the training  of high angle rescue staff in fire, police, professional rescue groups, municipalities, military, and industry. A Certificate of Standing is awarded for successful participants, and an  annual two-day re-qualification is necessary to maintain the certificate.
